My name is Stephanie Rowland and I am a licensed therapist in Maine.
I have been specializing in helping women to create balanced, meaningful lives through mindfulness, self-compassion, and
values-based living since 2017.
My primary therapeutic modality is Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) which has been shown to be effective in reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression among other difficulties. I am additionally trained in Nonviolent Communication and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction.
I love to help older adolescent girls and women across the lifespan to learn how to be deeply kind to themselves, to use effective communication with others, and to discover and live according to what lights them up.
Whether we meet online or at my office on route 302 in Raymond, I offer a welcoming atmosphere and a wealth of experience, practical insight, and skills for your healing and growth.
